Gucci Pattern Shawl & Fabby guest in Theory Hanalee Fox Fur Vest

I had a great day today! Met a long-time e-pal and her lovely family. We had lunch together and shopped in Natick Mall, chatting, taking pictures and buying new stuff. Sometime, it is even hard for myself to believe that the friendship between me and most of my girl friends starts from internet. Can’t wait to see her again, so does Nathan (he likes his new friend!).

Today was supposed to be the coldest day of this Boston vacation, and it was indeed cold! I put on my Vince Cocoon Sweater and Gucci shawl, and of course my down coat! The price of this Gucci scarf just increased this season, which stops me buying another one. I head to toes love the texture of this scarf, as well as its generous size. One downside of this scarf is the “loose” knit, which makes it actually very delicate! The black/white framed sunglasses, from Fendi, are my favorite among all my sunglasses. It is light (compared to Chloe) and fits wonderfully.

After Amanda introduced her recent happy purchases of Chie Mihara shoes/boots, I started to pay attention to this brand.

Chie Mihara launched her shoe line in Elda, Spain, in January 2002 in order to offer women something different, footwear designed by woman for women, with a priority placed on design and comfort. “we’re mothers, workers-all of us women!” she said, “and we should have shoes that will match our needs. We want to look femenine, beautiful, attractive but without giving up comfort”. Drawing on vintage influences ranging from 1930s feminity to 1980s humor, she began taking details from the past and reworking them to reflect contemporary aesthetics and modern fashion. Her distinctive footwear quickly gained a following devoted to Chie’s unique approach to comfort and style. (from http://www.chiemihara.com/about_chie.html)

I have tried several pairs of Chie Mihara shoes at Amanda’s and in stores, and it normally runs one half size up to me. However, this pair (Petal-detail ankle bootie) is true to size! I purchased it in Neiman Marcus today.

Lastly, I will show how stylish my new girl friend is!  She is a mom of two boys, 3 and 5month!!!! Her bracelet and necklace from Van Cleef & Arpels, and Carrie love bracelet match her LV bag perfectly!
