Unfortunately, we did not make the whale watch today. It is too hot (>94F), and very windy~ Instead, we went to Boston Public Garden (visiting swans!)and Quincy market.
I could not describe how much I love this city, especially when I walk along NEWBURY street. Many fashion boutiques, cool bars and nice restaurants are there, waiting to be explored 🙂 .
Also, the diversity of the architecture in Boston, from old traditions (considering that Boston is founded at 1630) to new ideas…
And, Boston is so family friendly!
By the way, Neiman Marcus has a deeper sale now, extra 40% off sale items (contemporary dept. only). Happy shopping and enjoy weekend!
dress: Anthropologie – Maple
shoes: Chie Mihara (they are comfy, but not as comfy as sneakers. I walked on them for about 6 hours in the city today)
If it is not too hot, we are going for a whale watch tomorrow!

I did a “test” drive to Boston today, and it took me about 50 minutes from home to office – not bad. Time flies, my two months break is ending soon, and long commute time will resume next week 😦
I could not describe how much I love this $40 tank dress (Missoni for target). It brings me a lot of compliments whenever I wear it out.
Took home a pair of Chie Mihara Xeroco Castano sandals (they are on sale @ 199 in Neiman Marcus, plenty left!). 3” heel with 0.7” platform makes this pair super comfy! It runs slightly small (~half size; I bought size 6.5).

This Puffection dress is my first JCrew collection purchase (it is on sale @ $189 in store, with an extra 30% off). The collection clothes have white labels instead of black or green ones, and overall have a better quality. It says ” guarantee a polished, ladylike look through cocktails, dinner and the dance floor“, but the combination of thick & wrinkled cotton texture and ivory color makes it more like a day dress. It runs one size large compared to most of other JCrew dresses (I wear size 00 here, but normally wear JCrew size 0 dress).
A pair of navy sandals will be a better match to this dress. Apparently, I don’t have navy shoes…
Bag: Celine mini luggage
Pearl strand: DIY
This JCrew wool scarf is on sale in store @ $29 (and an extra 30% off)! I bought two today. Wearing two together gives enough volume 🙂
Drop a quick hello to everyone~ I am enjoying the last couple stay-at-home days, doing as much shopping as I can 🙂

Hi everyone! I am back to Boston, after a 3-week-trip in China. To make my life easy, I (and my son) “lived” with a carry-on luggage in the past three weeks. SO, now I could not wait to wear my dear summer clothes!
One of my favorite summer pieces is Anne Fontaine scoop neck cami. This lace covered stretchable top can be worn alone or layered with a blazer or a cardigan. The pleated maxi skirt was bought the night before I left China, for the long flight. Similar pleated maxi skirts can be found here and here.

Radisson Blu Plaza, xing guo hotel
I stayed at Radisson Blu Plaza Xing Guo Hotel (highly recommend!), which is a deluxe upper upscale hotel located in the heart of Shanghai. It is actually in a garden which separate the hotel from the chaotic downtown!
Hang Hui shopping mall
Xing Guo Road
(strolling in the heart of Shang Hai. Does it like a park? )
The Bund, Oriental Pearl TV tower
the Bund sight-seeing Tunnel
not that fun~
