Sweater season – Vince chunky sweater cardigan

Sweater season arrives here in Boston and coincides with faded green leaves~ On our way to go ice skating this morning, we could not help stopping by a small lake and capture the FALL GREEN.

Chunky sweaters are one of my best friends in the early fall: easy to layer, keeping me warm and staying stylish.

It is FALL now: Gucci Pattern Shawl

No matter how much I love summer time (water fun, sun shine, ice cream and pretty dresses), fall eventually arrives. Mornings during the transitional seasons seem to be more chilly than they actually are…

Burberry Lime Color Rain Jacket, Hermes American Indian Scarf

I got this burberry rain jacket on sale three weeks ago from Saks.  The lime color is beautiful, it’s brighten up my skin tone, and it’s one of my favorite colors. The jacket is not thick, but will defiantly protect me from rain and wind. Right now, I put a T-shirt underneath, 2-4 weeks later, I will put a chunky sweater underneath to keep me warm. I love this jacket, and I know it will be in my closet for years, won’t be “retired” until end of it’s life span.

I received the Hermes American Indian Scarf as a souvenir gift. It’s my first Hermes Scarf, and I am so impressed with it’s beauty. My new jacket seems goes well with the bright scarf. Black sweater would also make a nice outfit with this scarf.

Carven draped sweater top

I have been waiting for this sweater for a whole week, since Amanda promised to give it to me!  Could not wait any more to wear it out today!

It is made by Carven, a French fashion brand. There are not many stores in US carrying this brand. I have only seen Carven clothes in NY Barneys and BG .  Carven is pretty young as a ready-to-wear label (since 2010), though it has more than a half century history in couture-fashion. Under the current creative director, Guillaume Henry, who worked for Givenchy for many years, all of Carven designs have a perfect balance between sexy and easy-to-wear.

Nude ballet flats by Paco Gil

Paco Gil is a fashion-forward Spanish brand, available on YOOX. My first impression of these ballet flats was their similarity to Stuart Weitzman shoes: quality, elegance and sophistication! They have patent leather upper, soft leather in sole and coated leather sole. Color is exactly as that shown in the picture, beautiful nude /beige. I ordered my normal size. They were slightly tight at the very beginning, but fit very well after being stretched overnight (using a two way shoe stretcher).

I like to show a little bit toe cleavage, but just A LITTLE!

Beige colored (nude) shoes should be safe with any outfits!

Scarf: Alexander McQueen

Necklace: Tiffany

Before close this post, let me finish the loop: Gucci flats from DSW. I received my order last week, and honestly I was very disappointed. The color is off and the fit is terrible. They will be returned to DSW!
