Proenza Schouler Lace-up mid boots & Theory leather leggings

Sweater: Vince
Pants: Theory IMA MAXIMUS leather leggings (black, here)

Hi all, I hope you had a relaxed long weekend! My girl friend and I spent couple hours in a nearby outlet today, and took home some deals :). The leather leggings by Theory (same style as here and here) had a second price cut recently, and has an extra 25% off now. The price was $835, and is $171.75. It comes in black suede, brown suede and gray leather. I sized up for my strong legs (size 2 instead of my normal size 0). It was purchased from Theory outlet store (phone # 5083847799, item number 8359181151).

The leather is soft to touch. Here is the measurements taken from size 2: rise = 8 ” (including the elastic waist band), waist = 27.5 ”.

The wrinkles are a little bit annoying, but they are seem to be there even on models. I chose to ignore them~

Proenza Schouler lace-up mid boots

The first time I tried lace-up mid boots!  I was also attracted by the leather and calf hair combination. They are nearly 90% off the original price (was $1,450, is $173.70). They are pretty comfy for the 4.25 ” heels, and did not give me a hard time during the 2 hours I walked on them.

Tomorrow I will post my girl friend’s picks from Salvatore Ferragamo, Tod’s, Theory, etc.

Thank you for your reading and talk to you tomorrow!

Thanks for writing some honest opinions for the items you bought.I wish your blog is more about the true fashion, color, and matching rather than just "brand" shopping. A lot of those big brand items really not worth to buy even there is a good bargain. But I appreciate your passion for good life quality, keep it up, girl.

Finding good deals for myself and my friends is a pleasure and fun. It doesn't conflict with the true fashion you mentioned, I believe. Brand names mean nothing until we bring it to life. Thank you for reading! Welcome to stop by and leave your comments.

Hi YuanI got my Rebecca Taylor leather quilted jacket today (xs). It fits me very well in shoulder. the body part is a little roomy, but I don't think that is down side because, first all, I prefer loose fit, secondly, it gives me more room to weather thick sweater underneath it. The jacket is much thicker than I expected (i bought a BCBG leather jacket weeks ago which is not thick enough for winter even I live in southern part). It is perfect for southern winter, keeping me warm and stylish. The only thing that bother me is that the sleeves are little long for me, they reach to my palm; the width of the sleeves fit me very well though. Yours is in size s, does the sleeve length bother you? How do you deal with long sleeve jacket?Any way I am very happy with the jacket, definitely keep it. I removed all leather pull tabs from most of the zippers except those pocket ones. Also I ordered two Chie Mihara pumps from Amazon. Both are great deal. So far I have 4 pair of shoes from CM. Love them!!! Thank you so muchAmy

Hi Amy,I am glad to know that all your orders work for you! The RT jacket does have long sleeves, but normally I like to pull the sleeves up, especially this one has butter leather~ CM shoes are definitely made for walking! I am looking forward to the CM boots sale!

I like pulling the sleeves up if I wear blouze and jacket. The problem is the sleeeves usually don't keep there for long, especially thick jacket like the RT one. The CM pump I bought are Amareto Platform Pump and Quene Pump. the Quene is very pretty and fits my feet super. The Amareto (slightly bigger) fits not as well as Quene, but it is still comfortable and eye-catching. Did you buy the Amareto? I would like to hear your opinion.

I rolled up the sleeves of my sweater (http://www.fabbylife.com/2013/01/rebecca-taylor-quilted-jacket.html) to hold the jacket sleeves in position. I hope this helps ~I have a pair of CM pumps (deep purple, size 6) which is slightly big for me. It is a big mistake! I have to sell it on ebay sometime later. Lesson learned that never buy pumps that don't fit you perfectly!

I'm a reader who is very thankful for your detailed review of some brand names. Often, the reason a brand is famous is because it truly produces some quality products. Thanks to you, I became more interested in Vince, which I've always heard of but didn't seek out. Now I know it is worth the price, esp on sale. Anyway, keep up the good job.

Ok, I guess I have to return the Amareto pump. I feel so sorry for the shoes, because they are very pretty. just slightly bigger, sigh!If you see more deals about CM, please please post here or QQH to me.Thank you so much.Amy
