|J.Crew fair isle cashmere sweater (sale here)
As suggested by J.Crew catalog, I wore black pants with my new luxury green cashmere sweater today. Black apparently makes this sweater more stand out! After couple wears, I think this sweater worth every penny it asks for. It is way thicker than all other cashmere sweaters in my closet, and doesn’t get fuzz balls easily! You won’t regret having it if you live in a cold place, as me.
|All Saints Ridley leggings (here)
When static electricity gets annoying (in dry winter days), I prefer heavy cotton leggings over nylon ones. My trusty cotton/modal leggings are made by AllSaints. The heavy cotton blend jersey gives great butt lift and thigh control. The paneled design is great with biker or riding boots. After dozens of wash, the color is still as new, and fitting doesn’t change. I wear UK6/US2 (for your reference, my jeans size is 25).
|Vera Wang lavender label boots (great style here)
|Burberry high gloss down coat
Neiman Marcus consolidation sale (in store only) started today. Most of sale items got a second or even third price cut, plus an additional 25% off~ However, all sales are final. I took home two sweaters.
1. Rag and Bone chunky sweater (available online here). It was $495, and is $129.75 (item number 96817312). I bought size small, which was slightly roomy. The red leather jeans I tried in the below picture is made by Joe’s (different color here), and is on sale around $200.
2. Vince boatneck sweater (online available here and here). It was $285, and is $128.25 (item number 822508027743).
There are Vince V-back cashmere sweater (I wore here) sale at $64 and Vince shrunken turtleneck sweater (same here, in olive and navy) sale at $78. A great selection of jeans are sale at a price around $50. In addition, I tried several shirts (DG, Ralph Lauren, etc.) and a Gucci wool dress (was $1400, is $362) on the premier designer sale rack. However, my size is not available… I should have not worked till 7 today.
Thank you for your reading and have a good weekend!
Hi all, I picked a Burberry snow white down coat for the snowy day today.
White and red combination, as a hint of holidays, gives strong contrast, which is perfectly balanced by the camel accessories (scarf and shoes). The red stripes on the Burberry scarf also matches the color of jeans.
A long time girl friend of mine came to visit me this weekend, and we had a lot of fun of chatting, enjoying food, and shopping! I feel so blessed to have many friends in my life. By myself, I may be able to shop for an hour or so and then get bored; while today, we shopped all the afternoon! Of course, I bought several lovely clothes!
(Zara dress + Maison Boinet belt + Chanel pumps)
Zara maroon & black stripped dress. This dress attracted me at the first sight. The color combination and the style are exact what I am looking for. There is no lining, but the shell has a thick texture. It has an expensive look, though it is made with viscose and polyester. The shoulder pads give the dress more structure. As other Zara tops, it runs small (I wore small here, instead of my normal size xs).
I like to wear a skinny belt to define my waistline. The Maison Boinet belt is the one I bought from INTERMIX at this black Friday (made in France, size 65, similar style here). The golden belt buckle matches the golden zipper. For those thick textured shift dresses, I prefer to folding them carefully under the belt. To secure your folds, you may use double-sided tape.
(J.Crew top and jeans + SF pumps)
J.Crew has 30% off purchase of $250+ currently, including both full price and sale items. The sale is NOT final! I picked a pair of toothpick skinny jeans (28” inseam, size 24 – J.Crew runs one size large for me; online here, but they were $49.99 before 30% off in store; color is called PK5652, and item number is 099102855558). I bought another pair in yellow (YL5590) at $39.99 before 30% off, and the item number is 099102625090.
Lustre lace mockneck tee seems to run one size up too, and I bought xxs ($69.99 before 30% off). It comes in two different colors, navy and light pink. The item number for the navy one is 099102865764, and the pink one 099102865775. The quality seems to be great, very thick cotton texture and machine washable. It also has a matching cami for coverage.
(J.Crew silk dress + BV pumps)
I also took home the J.Crew collection paisley jules silk dress at size 0 ($99.99 before 30% off, and the item number is 099102774856). It has two front pockets, and full lining. I haven’t decided to keep it or not. Readers, any suggestion?
Thank you for your reading and enjoy the rest of the weekend!
This green Ganni dress one me is part of the spring collection from Anthropologie. I am very fond of this type of fabric – thick cotton with elastane – since it is comfortable and easy to care (no dry clean is needed and it will never get wrinkled). In the Ganni’s Fall collection, there are one dress and two tops were made in the same fabric. All of these are extremely adorable. I especially like the Peplum Ponte Tank, and I highly recommend it. You can click on the link and see if it is your cup of tea.
The bright floral scarf was from J Crew. I bought it because it matches well with so many of my clothes/collections. It adds colors to any outfit. It is simply splendid in spring and summer time. It might be a little too “cheerful” for autumn and winter, but again, it depends on personal taste.
Well, It’s Saturday again, I wish everyone have a relaxed weekend, and enjoy the activities in cool breeze and outdoor concerts on green lawns in the late summer.

My mom and I took Allison to the Beachwood Mall today, I purchased this skirt I were really in love. I paired the skirt with two different denim top as soon as I got home. Which look do you like the most?
For your reference, Size 00 fits me perfectly, it does run big.

Hello everyone, it’s Monday again. I wish you have a great week. Today I want to share one of my DIY project. This top was made from the lining of my J Crew net-knit sweater top. I removed the lining, and pairing the net-knit sweater with tank top. Then I hand sewed those studs on the neckline, also blind stitched the both sleeves.
This is the original look of this sweater top. Because the lining was loose, the top looked very bulky on me.

I got this Leifsdottir dress from TJMaxx Runway last winter, fell in love with it at first sight. I love those dripping details on both side of shoulders and hips. I saw someone worn this dress with turtle neck underneath and knee high boots during early spring, it looked cute too.
The handbag was from Henri Bendel couple of years ago. It was a first sight love too, and I paid full price for this bag. Perhaps I am a 95% time sale person, if I am willing to pay full price on something, it must be my LOVE LOVE………. This bag has a long shoulder strip, and it designed as a cross body bag, I hide the shoulder strip inside the bag, and use it as a clutch.
I adore those sandals, they were purchased when I were pregnent from DSW.com by Bottega Veneta. They are super comfortable and very well made. I regret I didn’t buy more pairs in different colors and styles at that time.
